My husband and I each wore one of these wristbands for two weeks in Costa Rica and we were very pleased with how easy it is to wear and that the active ingredient does not contact your skin. Not sure how effective it was, as my husband did get a few bites on his legs, but we were using it as an extra precaution in addition to insect repellant applied to our skin. I was using DEET and my husband used an alternative with similar formulation to the wristband.
